Hello,
When I create mp3 files and post them on the web and then play them back over the net the audio drops in the first 3 seconds for about 1 second. Then it continues without a problem.

Song Info page, click on here for music sample
I have noticed this on several sites including:
http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/2005/02 ... intro.html
http://www.oreillynet.com/examples/orei ... r_drum.mp3
My player is QuickTime.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
All of my mp3 files play fine locally, it's just when they stream on the net the first time.
Thanks,
Victor
mp3 web playback audio dropout
Not an ableton related bug right ?
Well, I've just played the last link you provided, and all is fine here. Maybe, while streaming, your internet connection hangs for a second. That happens.
Maybe something else.... donno.
Cheers,
amo
edit: oops, sorry. I just tried the tracks on the website (first link) and yes, I've got the same behaviour. While the song is loads, it starts playing and there is a dropout, although the downloading is more than fast enough....
Sorry but I have no clue....
