If I have a few drum racks set up on different channels and they all have various macros assigned to a midi controller, can I somehow set my control surface to only interact with the channel I have armed?

There may also be a way within Ableton or using Max for Live but you can definitely do it with ClyphX Pro, for example having 8 knobs on a controller and assigning them to control 8 macros on whichever track is selected.
