MIDI Clip Insert Marker and Play Start Location

In Live 11 when editing multiple MIDI clips I'm unable to play from the MIDI clip Insert Marker when pressing OPT-Space (Mac). This only works when editing a single MIDI clip. This appears to be a bug with the multiple clip editing.
Instead, I prefer that playback always starts from the MIDI Insert Marker location. I see threads here going back 10+ years discussing this. Can we have this behavior as the default, or available as an option?
I don't understand the purpose of the MIDI Insert Marker as it is. It would be much more intuitive to have playback always start from its location. In short, synchronize the location of the MIDI Insert Marker and the Play Start location.
