Ableton Forum

Hey guys,
I just wanted to know if there is a way to "pepare" a sequence inside the sequencer without it beeing played immediately. Like as I can have a clip playing in ableton but also can programm the next clip on the same track while the first clip is still playing.

Sure, just select an empty clip on the same track and start entering notes with your mouse.

I should have said that I am looking for a way to do this on push2. But I just figured out how to do this. Thx
