Hardware trackers have seen a revival in the 2022, with the Polyend Tracker, the Dirtwave M8 and the already existing Nerdseq. Do you think we will continue seeing new trackers in 2023?

I think not so because many music producers don’t know how to use their software.

I think it's probably going to remain a niche thing for hardware, especially since you still really don't see all that many people using them in software anymore.

Back in the day, in the 90s, I knew there were trackers but I have no interest in them. Instead I was fascinated about Cubase or Samplitude. In fact, I didn't even understand how they worked.
Now it's different. And now that I understand them, trackers are easy and fast. And a very powerful solution for hardware sequencing, in my opinion. I wish more people could know how they work.

Maybe if there was a software version, I would try to use one.

I think SunVox is a tracker that’s been in constant development over the years and is supported on nearly every kind of device you could think of. Not sure how it compares to some of the more traditional ones.
Personally, I’d like to get into trackers, but then I am always distracted by other things. They’re pretty flexible, but in some ways too flexible and feel a little convoluted for me at times. Not that they have to be.

Yeah it looks like a mess to me (I love cleaning). But I’m already cleaning like 5 different VSTs at this time, including the Slink devices by Ableton. It is all very time consuming and challenging to learn.

I haven't looked at Sunvox. If you have not tried any tracker, they seem complicated at first, but once you know 2 or 3 basic things they are very easy to use and intuitive. I will have to take a look at Sunvox also

This is another track I made with zxcvbn. I am really enjoying using this tracker.
