Accelerandos / Rallentandos in session view

I always struggle with accel / rall in session view. I would love to be able to drag and drop a midi file in session view and it would import the tempo.
Let's say I have a 4 bars accelerando, imagine I could drop that 4 bars midi file, and when the scene would play, and actually DO the accelerando during that scene !
I have workarounds, but they are complicated :
1. have a cc mapped to the tempo (never precise enough with my audio stems)
2. have average tempo for that scene, and use audio click in a track instead of Master click
I have been asking this since 2007...
