Max for Live developers...what's up with MPE ?

I just made a tour of maxforlive.com. Couldn't find any MPE compatible synth (except a few expensive ones, maybe).
I have my Osmose next to me, I want to learn how to program MPE synths and FXs. Any recommendations of FREE devices whose patching could be explored to learn ?
I'm super interested in MPE patching tutorial as well !

Lucky man!
There's an MPE Arp @Isotonik and a few ones by Andrej Kobal, but not much mpe devices for the time being.
I feel like the reason is that it's looks complicated to program... well, that's actually the reason why I didn't yet dare to really take the plunge even though there's a few things I'd like to patch, but something's telling me that I'm not the only one being afraid by it.

Seems interesting indeed.
But I'm looking for resources to learn, or at least (free) devices that I could explore and do some revere engineering.

Some have understanding issues with the word 'free'
That said, Ess's creations (fors) are always amazing, that could be worth it.

Thanks, I'll dig into it.
I also downloaded the Rise Max package, but unfortunately it's mainly undocumented (no help files) externals.
I'm mainly interested in different ways to handle polyphony in synths. I'd love a clear statement from Ableton/C74 about how voices are allocated in M4L.
And also, as a feature request : the ability to explicitly target a specific voice in M4L. (the main reason has nothing to do with MPE, but this would allow multichannel from a single track).

Mpe note off device from max4live.com helped me alot. I used that to organize notes with pressure and slide to multisliders so it's no longer random. Mpe midi from my keith mcmillan kboard recorded in a live clip works fine with my patches, but drawn midi notes do not trigger note off for some reason.
