Shaper MIDI triggering on 'Note Off'

I am having an issue where 'Shaper MIDI' is triggering its envelope twice for every note played. Once on the initial note hit (as intended), but then again when the release midi is sent. Giving the unintended consequence of making it activate twice for every note.

I can see that Ableton is sending a midi CC of 0 velocity to indicate note off when a key is released. On other devices such as Envelope MIDI this just triggers the release component of the envelope, but in Shaper it triggers the entire envelope from scratch. I'm fairly sure this isn't how Shaper MIDI is intended to function. In fact I don't recall it happening a while back, but can't quite remember when it started (maybe with Live 11, but not sure).

If anyone has any idea how to solve this, help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

If you pm me I can send a fix until Ableton releases an official one.

Hi there. I am having a very similar problem with my set up. I am using Live to trigger MIDI notes on two external hardware synths, a Moog Mother 32 and Elektron Syntakt, both via a MOTU M4. The error isn't always present but when it does happen it triggers the note on and then sounds another note as the note off message happens, weirdly often in a different pitch. Wondering if it might be possible to link to the max fix mentioned above or if anyone knows if Ableton is fixing/planning to fix it? Any ideas very welcome and thanks in advance :D

Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1
