Serato Sample and Pad Lighting

I am using Ableton Live with a Push 2 and Serato Sample as an alternative to Simpler at times. My issue is that, when using Serato Sampler in a drum rack (following Ableton tutorial) the pads on Push do not light up to the corresponding pads on Serato. In other words, when chopping a sample with 16 slices, those 16 pads aren't lit up on the push as shown in the Ableton video. I am running Ableton on a 2017 MacBook Pro with no other issues. Anyone have any insight into how to make the pads light up? Thanks!
