BPM Technique to make Resampling alot quicker ?

Hey to the forum !

I stumbled upon a Andrew Huang video some day (which i cant find again...) Which is terribly sad.
Cause he showed a very handy trick there how to resample long tracks in a few Seconds, by upping the BPM to the maximum possible (999) and then just casually resampling what happens onto a new track.
Somehow this technique always messes up my audio and i cant wrap my head around how he did it, with ending up with a result that has no artefacts or glitches in it.

Does anybody actually use this technique and knows how it is done ?
Could really use some help here.
Cause it actually makes alot of sense to have that option at certain points... Would be really nice to be able to apply it.

All the best !

He was probably demonstrating something else...
As you noticed by yourself, you can't use such a technique and hope for clean results!

I hope he replies some day, i wrote him a message on Instagram and maybe he might get to me... i might even try writing a email.

I cant find that original video anymore and now as you mentioned it im even more intrigued what the heck was going on in there, and what he actually showed to do.

Im not sure why im thinking that its actually about resampling audio.
I mean it could actually also be that it is about resampling a midi instrument...
What would definitely make more sense, if it wouldve been that.

I will keep on investigating... and post what i find out here as a response !
