Editing MIDI tracks

I know I can change a MIDI note length in clip view by selecting a note dragging its edge. However this is a bit hit-and-miss on my 15" screen. Is there any way to enter a numeric value for the note length? I can't see anywhere in the MIDI note editor.

try selecting the midi note(s) and hold shift+left/right arrow to lengthen and shorten the end of a note(s).
