please, tell me it's a bug and not a design choice...

it's impossible to resize the left column of sampler's zone even when the name of the samples are shorts .???

The right pane (which shows the range of values) is set to "small" in your case. Right click it and pick "large" to make it wider, and the left pane narrower.

Admittedly, a resize handle on the separator line between both panes (like on all other separators in Live's main interface) would have been more intuitive.
