I may be imagining this, but it seems more difficult to use audio effects such as reverb on Ableton Live 11 Lite than on 10.
Instead of being able to drag the effect down and use the on/off switch whilst recording, I now find I have to load the effect on to the recorded clip, and cannot therefore switch it off in midstream.
So now I have to have two tracks - one for effects and one for no effects.
Am I missing something?

1. record your clip
2. right click on the on/off of the reverb -> select "show automation"
3. edit automation lane on/off in the arrangement as required
Automation lanes display can be turned on and off with key "A"

Thanks. I'll certainly try that, but it's definitely not what I used to do on Ableton 10!

You're welcome. I think it's the better way to do this after recording.
But of course you can also record automation simultaniously while recording. Just use a MIDI controller or Push 2 to control the on/off or dry/wet or any other control of the reverb device during recording. There's no difference in that regard between Live 10 or Live 11.

That worked perfectly. Thanks so much!
