Not as dull as me. I just ordered one. I guess it's time for me to upgrade to Tiger, too.

I don't think it's dull at all...

This is a fascinating subject, i mean you just gotta wonder at the singlemindedness it took to continue to put out those ridiculous mices.....seemingly for all eternity.

Amazing!

It always seemed odd to me that they didnt sell a 2-button before, with all the 2-button functionality in there since the beginning of OSX.

A lot of my friends who have macs and aren't 'proffesional' users ( IE they always ring me up to fix them) they used to say "there's no need for a 2 button mouse". So I used to just leave a USB mouse with them for a month or so - then ask for it back.

No-one wanted to go back to a one button. If the OS has al those context menus in there ... why take away the button that accesses them?

Even though this is a cool mouse - I cant help but look at the "hey, one-button looks" and wonder if the design choice was partly made on the basis of maintaining a 'difference' .

I'm pretty sure that's why they didn't do an official 2-button before - because it was too 'PC' like. Which is just daft, I have a 72 button mouse and it's great.

I thought they avoided making a two button mouse because it's good for Apple to have companies like Logitech in business creating accessories and peripherals for their platform.

I hate Steve Jobs.

He runs the company with blinders on. He consistantly released crippleware (2 finger scrolling trackpads for instance), sticks to the archaic notion that 2 button mice are too difficult to grasp.

I bet that bloated ass is sitting in his office patting himself on the back saying 'it only has one button technically, so I don't have to admit I was wrong all these years.

WAY too little too late, Steve-O.

I hate Steve Jobs.

You can also just buy any pc two button mouse, plug it in and use it. The first accessory I bought after my powerbook and ibook was a microsoft mouse. Does that make me blasphemous?

Also, WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY RELEASE THIS AND NOT INCLUDE A BLUETOOTH WIRELESS VERSION?!?!?!?!?

I love my Macs, I really do, but dammit, sometimes...

I think we all bought a 2+ button mouse...

Proof that Jobs is the George Lucas of computers.

I hate Steve Jobs. A lot.
