Simpler "slice" is placing transient markers incorrectly

So, I drop a sample into Simpler and hit the "slice" tab.
Why is it putting the transient marker in the wrong place?
I would think it should be at the start of the transient, at a zero crossing?
The sample:
Why is it putting the marker here, in the wrong spot?
Adjusting sensitivity doesn't correct it. I can manually adjust it, but this defeats the purpose of automatic slicing. I expect a tiny bit of error, but this is unusable.
