echo indigo virtual/multiple outputs problem

Since I upgraded to Live5, the virtual and multiple outputs on my Echo Indigo cards have disappeared.
When I go to Prefs->Audio, I should see four pairs of audio outs as possible selections, but only one pair is available. Is there some other setting that I'm missing that controls this?
Another progam (Traktor) on the same computer sees all 8, so it's probably not a driver problem.
I'm scared that someone is going to tell me that I have to "trash your preferences" file. Is there a more surgical way of fixing this?

hi,
I've had the same pb with my echo indigo dj when i was beta testing Live 5.
Problem was fixed when i install the last version of the drivers found on the echo web site.

Cheers

have you checked that 'echo asio' is selected rather than just 'asio'

For "Driver Type", I have

No audio
MME/DirectX
ASIO

For "Audio Device"

No device
ASIO echo WDM
ASIO4ALL

I'm not sure my options match yours Angstrom.

I'm using the latest drivers: v6.11
