Taking delivery of Push 2 today

Reading some of this, seems like some are really having trouble with this.

Being an avid Studio One user, I have ATOM SQ/original and the Faderport 8. These have performed fairly well with Live, but I don't really like the pads on SQ (and the default on the original is for clip launching/recording) (ALSO, I can't figure out how to get my Nektar T4 to work with Live yet......no response from Nektar after a week.......no big though)

Looks like I might be glad that there is a return policy for this. I'm obviously no power user with Live yet, but 800 bones is TOO MUCH coin if it doesn't work really well.

If anyone has any suggestions for a newb (other than the incredible about of vids that I've been watching and learning from) please holla' at me.

I'd search google for the Push Bible, it was brilliant for me coming from no knowledge...

Cheers

Well, the good news is that it's all hooked up and ready to rock. It turns out that originally the screen wouldn't show up. Tried a bunch of suggestions and nothing worked. Hooked it up with the win 10 lappy and it worked.

Had to do a clean install (this time win 10 on the main machine) and it's fine now. It's got me spooked about windows 11 though. I'll work with 10 for a while and see how to use it and such, this time make sure all the installers are backed up and try a little later.

Contacting support to see if there is something I could have done differently, the only thing I can think of is I added an Option.txt file (for armed recording and view plugs), maybe that borked something? Though I did try trashing the prefs.

Could related to your computer's graphics card (driver) I think.

I actually have two: The built in one on the AMD chip and a Nvidia. Neither one worked. I followed the advice given in the other thread and nothing worked. Again, hooked it up to the lappy, BINGO! (whew, at least it's not the controller! )

So now that it's been almost a week (and the unfortunate need to do a clean install to get it to work properly), I'm not sure how someone can live w/o this

As mentioned in my other thread, I have had a little bit of a problem with "recording" clips and timing but overall it's a beast!

Oh, I forgot about this! Yeah, the "timing" issue was "start playback after tap tempo"

 Well, at least it's over now!

This thing is great so far.
