So, ive downloaded some acoustic bass plugins for my new song, but it doesnt show anywhere (in the plugins menu). So as any reasonable man i looked up what it could be, but nothing that i tried worked. Everything that i tried: Made sure that it was 64 bit, made sure that the custom and program vst2 and 3 are in the right folder, made sure that the install location is in the right place, hit rescan 20 times and closed ableton a couple of times, restarted my computer, and probably more that i forgot in my few minutes of irritation.
Can anyone help?
ableton not finding plugins

Letting people know which plug ins you're talking about might help.

You wouldn't happen to be windows 10/11, would you?
I've been in HE double L ALL WEEKEND. The curprit? Onedrive. My god, it's had a mind of it's own for 4 or 5 days!!!!!!! Never was a problem before. Hehe, maybe AI is taking over?
What I just tried was a clean install, turning it off, then uninstalling it. Crikey, there are still some remnants of it
But I digress, if doze, it's just a possibility.
