Hellooo. Long time since I've been on the forum. Just wanted to double check: we are still limited to 100 values per the 2 decimal point automation system in most plug-in cases right? Like, I can't get finer than 100 automation values for Arturia's DX7 filters, for example, right? I know it probably seems unnecessary but yea, just checking. Thank you, future repliers!
EDIT: nevermind - I see VST3 is what's necessary. I would delete this thread if I knew how!

Yeah, I've done that a couple of times. Mods don't seem to be too willing to delete either. But, now that you posted a workaround/solved, it might help someone else.

The automation value range is 0-1.0 with 100 subdivisions, that's right. Normally, instruments use a range of 0-127 for MIDI controllers. However, I would not assume here that Live does not output any interpolation that is calculated between the “visible” values. That's just a guess on my part.
