Hey folks,
i brought a mini midi controller to use the endless knobs (encoder) for a live performance. The general midi mapping works fine but here is my problem:

In the moment when i mapped a hardware knob to a parameter and i turn the hardware knob than the virtual parameter follows the position from the hardware knob. I would like to have it that the endless knob from the midi controller follow the virtual parameter and not the other way. Is hat possible? I found nothing about this problem. Thank you for helping me

Look in the MIDI preferences tab and choose between the different takeovers modes available to see which suits your use best.

Which controller are you using? Some controllers have endless physical knobs but don’t do relative mapping.
