Hi,

Here's my problem ; I use an instrument rack with the Chain Selector to play different VST in my live. But if the chain selector control well in my session the fact the that the instrument rack is "On" or "Off", all the plug in inside the Instrument Rack are "On" still. So my CPU is not happy and I have to find a solution. Sometimes, when I manually turn off the instrument rack device, all the VST and the FX in the groupe turn off well. But at any time during my live, they turn on again, whenever i told the global device to stay off.

Can someone could help me with it please ?

Thank you very much !!

Chain Selector in a Instrument Rack doesn't turn off anything, it just routes and filters the MIDI input (to whatever Chains the user set it to).

Chains are basically for parallel routing, they don't turn on or off anything, stuff (audio or MIDI) simply gets routed through Chains.

(And it is even possible to route stuff directly to or from Chains in Racks, that can skip over the Chain Selector settings.)

You didn't explain what is the exact setup, so it is impossible for other people to help with your problem.
