Sends only for sample in drum rack?

Hello,
I usually use a rimshot that plays at the same time as my kick for my sidechain, but I have to keep it on a separate track and have it on sends only mode. Is there a way that I can keep it in the same drum rack as my kick but have it routed to "sends only"? In the "audio to" boxes, I can only get it to send to a return channel. Thanks!

Drum racks have their own sends. Create one in the io tab and route it to sends only.
Alternatively, you can mute the rimshot and select pre-mixer in your sidechain source.

Oh ok. I tried to make a send and it didn't seem to work; maybe it's because I'm in live lite? But the pre-mixer idea sounds amazing thank you. That would help me save tracks in lite (drat the 8 track limit) and make it easier to make sure it's coming at the same time as the kick.
