I recently bought a Yamaha PSR-E373 keyboard and a sustain pedal. The sustain pedal works perfectly with the keyboard sounds and in other DAWs (I've tried with Reaper) but with Ableton, here's what I observed:

1. On the top right corner, I can see the yellow dot blinking when I press and let go of the sustain pedal
2. However, the sustain is not happening while playing and recording.
3. After recording just the sustain pedal, the MIDI automation clip looks like the image below (only one automation point at 0 even though I pressed the pedal multiple times)
4. I've also tried to change the polarity switch on the sustain pedal (doesn't make a difference)
