Push 2: why doesn't a track stay armed in Session Mode?

Post by sporkles » Thu May 25, 2023 7:19 pm

I depend quite a bit on the feature that arms a track by selecting it, but it's always bugged me, through both Push 1 and 2, that if I switch to Session Mode, I have to "hard arm" the track in order to record to a new clip slot. Is there really no setting to change this behaviour, and what's the rationale behind it?

Soft arm lets you instantly play your midi track when you switch to Note mode.
In Session mode one doesn't always need tracks to be constantly armed.
This M4L device have an auto-arm option.
