Push 3 - updating software to 1.1 taking ages?

I have just received push 3 and I am just setting it up - as part of this process I saw that there is a software update available. (1.1 from 1.0.1) if I am reading correctly. So I have started the update running and it has been going for over an hour and a half now. There is no progress bar to say how it is doing...or even if it is actually updating or stuck in someway. I am reluctant to try and halt it incase it causes a problem. Does anyone know - is it a large update, should it take this long? - actual download speed is prob about 1 mbs


As a side issue - is there a page somewhere on the Ableton site that says what is included in this update...bugs,functions etc.

Update....I bit the bullet and exited standalone mode and the went back in again to try the download a second time... I must have missed pressing something as it does seem to be running now and there is a progress update....phew

Question still remains...where can I look up the details of the update.

I don't think this update should be available to you...
Please cancel the installation if possible.

Useful to know... as I have tried the update 3 times now and it keeps crashing out....the furthest I have got is 24%.

Good to know I can safely ignore it and get on with exploring push 3...

It is, however, still appearing as being available on the screen ... How will I know when it really is available?

Wait, was it 1.1 or 1.1.1?

If it was 1.1 then you should update to this version. And if it still doesn't work correctly then please contact Support
Sorry, I think i misread you in the first place.

It was 1.1 that it was saying was available to download- however it has now removed that choice and it says 'your Push is up to date' The version is Push 1.0.1 according to the left of the window, Not really sure what was going on there....anyway back to working out what the rest of it does.

Interesting. I have installed 1.1 today and push reports "Push 1.1, Firmware 1.0.68. Took me 5 or 6 tries until it dowloaded correctly....what now? Push works normally as far as I can tell.

That's all good then. As said in my previous post, I misread and though the OP was saying "1.1.1" instead of "1.1", my mistake.
Everyone should update to 1.1 as soon as possible.
The version you get when starting Push for the 1st time is way too old and will give you stability problem.
