There are no ins 3 to 8!

I don't understand why, but the ins on the Push 3 are 1/2, then the ADAT ins start from 9...

The outputs on the other hand don't skip any numbers, but the ADAT outs still start at 9.
I have the exact same issue and cant connect my Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre to my Push via ADAT therefore.

You can connect it. You just have to use I/O channels 9-16.

I picked up an older firewire Fireface 400 for cheap and it's running ADAT to my analogue desk like a dream.
cool!
Didn't you need a firewire connection to configure the routing - at least once (adat<-->analog) ?
thnx
Yes I did - borrowed a friends old mac. Hoping I don't need to change it again (ever).

Hey P3 Geaks,
I would like to use my Scarlett 18i20 to extend the Inputs of my push.
Do you know it is possible to connect my monitors to the 18i20 and use them as:
- alternative monitor output, when I am using P3
- monitor all my inputs when push is switched off
cheers
Peter

Im using standalone with a behringer 8200, it works really well.
It took me a little while to suss out how to change the master output to the 8200 outs, it looked like it had to be used with the internal audio outs but luckily you can change it.

If you use an adat interface for master out make sure you turn the volume level down before hitting a pad :)
Hey @jiggle,
how did you change the master output tof push to the 8200?
cheers

Il copy it in here as it could save people time in the future.

To set your master out channels you,

Press the master button with the smaller "-" key next to the screen,
Tap the 2nd button above the screen "input & output",
Then you use the first knob to change the master to the channels you want, the adat starts at 9-10 i think,

Turn master down first as I had a frightening shock how loud it will be :)

Let me know if i missed anything

By the way the latest beta now lets you use the clock from your ADAT-connected audio interface, which is nice.

Can somebody confirm the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 also works to use its outputs on push?

(i got its inputs to work smoothly (see "ADAT OUT " "1.1-1.8") but cant see any signal in focuscontrol selecting 9 onwards on the Line Outputs, nor see I anything related to "ADAT IN" in focuscontrol)

Shouldnt it show up also 8 ADAT INs which I should be able to assign?

I’m using an ExpertSleepers ES-3 and ES-6 very happily with Push to send audio and CV back and forth to my modular. Works great and it’s cheaper than the ES-8 and has two more inputs (albeit with 4 extra hp of space needed…)

Before I got the push 3, I already had the UA Apollo x4, which has great audio conversion that I am reluctant to replace with the Push 3 audio interface. Despite the fact Apollo x4 already has 4 inputs, it would be really cool to add 2 more mono inputs from push 3 via an ADAT connection. I have Push 3 sending adat out to apollo x4 adat in, with the apollo x4 set as ableton's audio interface, but am not getting sound. I'm using the same sampling rate and clock source. Does anyone know how these interfaces ADATs map to one another to extend the capabilities?

Not sure if I am being greedy wanting to combine interfaces to get more ins / outs, if these interfaces are compatible via adat, if I should go the route of creating an aggregate device in macbook pro audio midi setup, or if I like the interface on push 3 enough for it to replace the apollo x4?

I managed to get the Scarlett 18i20 working as an ADAT slave. But only in 48khz (by setting the Push to that)

Has anyone managed to get 96khz working (and in turn only using 4 connections)?

Cannot seem to get any audio through like that.
This is a limitation of the focusrite adat. 1-2 tracks at 192kHz, 1-4 tracks at 96kHz, and 1-8 tracks at 48kHz. The Octopre, for example, has 2 toslink ports for in and 2 toslink ports for out to allow sending/receiving 8 tracks at 96kHz.
Do either of you know if the Push 3 recognizes the outputs on a Focusrite scarlet 18i20? I've been trying to figure out my new live setup, but I was hoping to do some external routing. No luck yet.

just got my EVO SP8 and hooked up with the PS3 with two ADAT toslink cables, and it works great.
I created a template that has all the routings ready for some standalone magic.
Sounds awesome!
Does this mean I could hook up my new EVO SP8 straight out of the box to my Push 3 (standalone), without needing to configure it with a computer?

I ordered an EVO SP8 earlier this week and I will receive it in a couple of days. It's gonna be great!

Has anyone had any luck getting an Audient ASP800 to work with Push 3 standalone? I can't get it working at all.
