on the first track the colour appears to be slightly different on the left side on all the scenes if they are empty, it’s only part of it though and seems to curve on the last scene ?

Yup, I noticed that on my Push, too. So maybe it's normal? It's kinda strange that it's not visible when the track is filled with clips. But a little more annoying is that my display has a dead pixel since 2 days.

You can also see it on some of the YouTube reviews so presume it is normal albeit weird

Yes I have this as well on mine, and also I've noticed it on other videos on YT, Andrew Huang one for instance..

Basically it's a grey uniformity problem at the edges of the display which is causing some slight vignetting effect, but only visible from certain angles, and only on greys.

It could be a fault of the display itself but it could also be due to the acrylic glass (which I believe is sitting directly on the display) not being perfectly flat at the edges on the side facing the LCD panel, causing this slight contrast variation in those areas..

It's very minor though, not a big deal to me personally.

Wow, I just had a deeper look and I can also see it, but that's reeeaaally subtle.
It gives a lovely smooth curve/3D feel.

I guess it's always been there on Push 2 as well, but it was impossible to see because the only page showing this is the new Session page which I believe is the only page with grey color at the edges of the display..

I have the same issue with the screen.
I sent the message to support and I'm still waiting to hear back.
Assuming it's a hardware issue, I'll have to send it back. If it's a firmware issue then I'm happy to wait.

Did anyone else with this issue hear back from support?

I think this is happening on every unit, though on my unit I have noticed that its started becoming less noticeable to the point I can hardly see it.

I believe it's improving with use of the screen, as I remember that it was much more apparent when I turned my unit on for the first time...

Still there on mine, not acceptable for £1700 you expect it to be pristine instead it’s riddled with issues including hardware! Sending mine back

I received a reply from support about the screen problem. They think it's a software bug rather than a hardware fault.

I like this perspective, and I wish I'd alighted on it before the phrase I sent to support: "sweat stain"...

I may have the same problem and dont believe it software based, it looks the same on standalone and controller mode.

Does it look the same on your devices?
and would you send this unit back?
