I just updated my mac os today from 10.3.7 to 10.3.9.

I was running ableton 4.1.2 fine on that system. once i updated to 10.3.9 i couldn't open up Live.

I downloaded Live 4.1.4, but it still won't open.

Help!!!

When you updated to 10.3.9 did you use the "Combined" Update? Make sure that you do. After installing everything, try repairing your Disk Permissions (Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility). Also when you update to 10.3.9 you do need to make sure you also have all of the Quicktime updates, etc. as these do make a difference with other audio applications.

If that doesn't work maybe trash your Live 4 preference file.

It should work though, I've been running 4.1.4 on OS 10.3.9 without issue and I'm on a very slow 667MHz TiBook.
