Pads triggering other pads

On my Push 3 (Standard Edition, not Standalone) I noticed that some pads triggers other pads if I press or move my finger a bit too much. I'm not sure it a software issue, looks more like a faulty hardware/pads?
Here is a video of the issue :

I can use any VST (Drift, Omnisphere, Arturia Pigments...), the result is the same.
Did you guys notice similar bugs? Should I contact Ableton directly?

You should definitely contact the support.
I have similar issue with the same pad (bottom, left) triggering like that, and retriggering by itself when I lift my finger. Also there are a lot of people having problems with the touch strip too that triggers by itself. From what I understood in the touch strip post they are still investigating these issues.
So.. contact the support to report the problem the way it happens to you so they can help you in the end.

Is it always happening with the same pads?

Yes, it's always the same pads that triggers other pads.
Now if I increase the threshold in the settings (something like 15 or above), it seems to solve the issue. But it doesn't feel like a permanent fix since it affects all the pads.
I contacted support in the meantime

Ok, good move
You should definitely not need to put the threshold higher. Mine is set to the minimum and I'm not seeing this problem.

I have this problem as well.
All pads in the center trigger pad above and below when sliding up and down on pad. Pads on the edges seem to work fine

Still no news from support, but I think they have a lot to deal with right now.
I will let you know as soon as I have any update

Got an answer from support, I have to send my unit back and will probably get a new one. They confirmed that it was an issue with my unit.
So if you guys have the same problem make sure to contact the Ableton support directly. I got an answer in 2 working days which is quite fast

Lucky you, I have the same problem with my unit, but I have to crank the Threshold up to 42 to not get any more cross-triggering! Reported this on Friday, so still waiting for a response.

I contacted support the 30th of May about this. No response what so ever.

I received a replacement Push today that doesn't appear to have this issue.
However, it appears a bit less sensitive than the outgoing Push 3. I keep a large makeup brush next to the unit for removing dust from between the pads. When I'd dust the old machine it'd go off, lots. This new one — even on Threshold 0 — does not. I wonder if there's some recalibration going on at the factory now to make a few more units viable?
Still, had this been the first unit I'd received, I'd have been overjoyed with it, so maybe it's just a case of getting used to it again. That is, if this second one doesn't go back for another touchstrip issue.

Just received my second unit, and it has the exact same issue / behavior. I guess it's a design issue, and not really a technical one

Same issue in various spots on my pads. It happens during pitch-bends across the pads of a given row, as well as pitch-bend and slide on individual pads. Submitted a report earlier today, so standing by for a response from support.

Has anyone else with this problem just asked for a new unit?
I told the person handling my case I would rather wait until they had it all figured out. Its only really noticeable during MPE so I can live with it for the time being.
