I have 2 MidiMix's, and neither are working as a control surfaces in Live. I am receiving midi from the units, and I'm able to midi map parameters. But no dice as a control surface. I have them setup in Live preferences properly via the manual in the Link/tempo/midi settings. I have an AKA MpcMini MK2 which works fine as a control surface.

I have changed the default midi channels and midi notes etc in the MidiMix editor... is that why? Does anyone know of a way to reset to default?

yep it has to be set to its default midi values. The MidiMix editor automatically launches the factory default when opening a "new" mapping, so you just load that on.
