Hi !
I've started working on a live set, and for convenience during the performance, I'd like to trigger a scene using a pad on a drum rack i'll be playing on the push, but I can't figure a way to get this working.
I've tried to midi map the scene in question, and it does work, but only if I play anything else than the push (for exemple the keys or pads on my second controller). The problem is that it doesn't work if I play the pad from the Push, the way I want it. I also tried setting an auxiliary midi track within ableton, but it does not seem to work either.
If anyone has an idea on how I should proceed, I would be forever grateful !
How can I trigger a scene using a drum rack pad ?

I use ClyphX Pro for this. It is a script that uses an M4L application to feed a drum rack with all kinds of actions that are written into midi notes. And these notes can be positioned in desired time in the roll of a midi clip of an appropriate length. It’s not so easy to get into it, but totally worth the work.
