Push 3 File Transfer

I am interested in other users experience with transferring files and projects to push 3 over wifi.
I experience constant dropouts and get "uploading to push failed" error message. Can't work out why.
I am thinking about trying a hard wired ethernet connection. Anyone done it?

I had this issue for weeks and went back and forth with support for a while trying to troubleshoot
Finally landed on the issue being my router... i upgraded to a new router (for free from my ISP) and the issue went away
A quick way to check is to try and use your phones hotspot to see if you can then transfer. if that works then its probably your router.
Ever since I got the new router its been working flawlessly

You probably want to use an ethernet USB adapter.
This is the thread where we were discussing this

Did you solve the problem?
Yes and No.
I purchased a $35 ethernet switch, some cat 6 cables and two usb - ethernet adaptors. I connected my laptop and my Push 3 to the switch and turned off wifi on both. This enabled a solid network connection with no dropouts. However it's less than the "seamless transfer over wi fi" that Ableton had in mind.
When connected over wifi I still experience constant dropouts - push becomes unavailable inside Live and I need to restart the software in order for it to find push. This occurs after almost every attempted file transfer.
The problem I am experiencing could be my router however. I have tried it using my phone and a portable wifi hotspot and had dropouts in both. I do plan on raising a support ticket to make Ableton aware of this issue.

Did anyone figure this out? I'm having the same issues when transferring files.
Had issues with 3GB sample packs, now I have even more issues by trying to transfer a live set with backing tracks for 10 tracks to my Push.
I wish they would simply let us transfer via the USD-c cable smh

I can't believe that there is no option to transfer files via USB cable. It is a ridiculous design flaw. I don't always have the luxury of a perfect router, and Mac OS doesn't support ad hoc networks.

I think the Push 3 will very soon once 12.1 is out (you could try and get the beta today).

Push 12.1 also has no USB file transport.
But, it would be nice to have.

yeah sorry, I was not precise, I meant that 12.1 is supposed to bring ad hoc capability to Push so you dont need a wifi network
