Hi All!
I have a question / Issue that is driving me insane!!!
and hopefully someone can help me with some magical solution!
This crazy automation issue that happens every time when I try to use any Ableton stock plugin and doing a live recording to the automation's.
Happens every time doing these steps listed below:
- Open a new project
- Create any new track and insert any stock plugin onto that track
- Once the plugin has been inserted, press play and record
- While the track is recording do a simple automation of any parameter on that plugin
- Once done, stop recording
- Now, start recording again and adjust that same parameter in any direction and let go
- Now move the mouse away from that parameter but "DONT STOP RECORDING"
- Now try to grab that same parameter and make an adjustment, then let go of it.
- Watch it then will for some freaking reason spring back to the default position it was at before the 2nd recording was done, while still recording.
This happens with every stock plugin that I try to use.

My setup is:
I have a Ableton push 2 controller and I have it's also connected to it's power supply and new cables.
I even tried to disconnect the controller and all midi devices connected to my IMAC but same issue occurs.
I use Abelton 11 but this has been an issue with live 10 as well.
I am on a iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017)
