Midi-mapping on nanokontrol2

Hello,

Just moved to Ableton from Logic. I am using Nanokontrol2 as the midi controller. After searching all over the internet, I tried Mackie control as the control surface and nanokontrol2 as the input and output. It works fine. However, I want to set some custom MIDI maps (specially while working in arrangement view) and have a few questions on that matter:

1. Is it possible to view the existing midi mappings in Ableton so that I could select and change as per my convenience?

2. How can I set the track selector button on my nanokontrol2 to jump over different tracks?

3. When not using mackie control and mapping from scratch, I mapped the transport buttons like loop on/off, play, stop and rec buttons. But I noticed on the loop on/off button and rec button, I need to keep pressing the button on the controller to keep it going or else they won't work. Where can I find the option to choose them as on/off switch?

4. How to midi map forward and rewind?

5. Is it possible to save the custom mapping so that I don't have to start over everytime I open Ableton Live?

All of these were possible in Logic. And it would be really helpful if there's anyway I could work these out in Ableton as well.

Thank you.

Go to Remotify and write your own control surface script...

Cheers
