I am recordings an album of my rock tunes .
I play all the instruments so far, but I need to add drums (ranging from soft rock to EDM sytle).
I don't play drums (but I play many other instruments)

.. should I learn drums (electronic) or use a drum machine? Noote by note in Ableton is too tedious for me.

thanks

Another option is to play the MIDI notes into a drum rack using pads - you can do kick and snare in one pass, then cymbals, then fills, then percussion. Easier than learning to play the drums and more human than a drum machine. I play drums but usually record this way as it's simpler and more editable.
