How to midi map live.tab values individually

Post by spinlud » Fri Aug 18, 2023 9:49 pm

Hi guys, Max4Live newbie here.
I have the following M4L device with a looper section where there are different divisions (e.g. 4bars, 2bars, 1bar, etc).
My goal is to midi map these divisions individually to different buttons on my controller, unfortunately it seems that the whole divisions section can be mapped only to a single control.
Inspecting the device, I can see that section is using a live.tab component https://docs.cycling74.com/max8/refpages/live.tab.

Does anyone know if is it possible to midi map map each value (division) inside the live.tab individually?

Thanks for feedback. Is there any other component I can use to achieve the same thing (mutually exclusive options individually mappable)?

I do it the hard way : multiple [live.text] and « set 0 » message boxes + [sel 1] combos.
If there’s a better way, I’d love to know !
