midi clip edit view controller and notes

Hi,

It's been a long time since I posted here and tbh I haven't been very serious about music since then (I probably wasn't ever that serious about it but now perhaps less so).

Anyway enough of that gibberish.

I am now on the latest version of live and have been using other live version since around 2011 and I seem to remember that in older versions of live you could edit a midi clip and see a controller in the clip editor at the same time as editing the noties (length, pitch etc.)

You can edit the controller values such as pitch bend overlaid on the notes but when you switch to editing the notes the pitch bend disappears.

Was this every a feature? I took a look at Bitwig just now and you can do exactly what I am describing because it has a genuine 2 panel editor for midi.
