I have an IEM rig setup with tracks running from Live. I’ve got a MacBook and router so everyone in my band can adjust their IEM mixes via mobile apps. Earlier today I was starting up my Live and a pop up window came up saying ‘Verifying Ableton Live’. A progress bar started and finished. But then Live never started up and when I tried to start it again it wouldn’t even run. I’m guessing this is because I’m not connected to the internet. Is that the case? If so, how do I get around this? The last thing I need is to be at a gig and for this to happen.

maybe it was doing an auto-update? i'd definitely turn that off in the Live prefs if you haven't already...
