Pls. ditch it. I barely have... no... never have seen anyone using it, including myself.

I.m.o. it would be better to show the "Configure" button instead immediately to map controls for automation. Currently you have to expand view first to do that. This would be more important use case than XY controls.

My guess is that the feature should stay available so that it doesn't break pre-existing sets or configurations for the users that utilize it.

What if instead it was an optional view that defaulted in the "closed" view, the same way that the plugin parameters are hidden by default until you reveal them by clicking the arrow button.
