Hello,
I don't find my answer in the forum, so I post it here.
I created a scene (2 clips of 2 instruments), and a mapped it to a midi controller to trigger it.
I mapped the Play button (of arrangement view) to another button of the midi controller.
The beginning of my song, I need to trigger the scene with my 1st midi button, and when I choose to start the song (prepared in arrangement view), I trigger the 2nd midi button to activate the principle Play button.
The problem : when I launch the scene, it launches too the arrangement view playback.
Do you have a trick to solve my problem ?
Thank you in advance.
Launch a scene in Session view without launching Play in Arrangement view

Re: Launch a scene in Session view without launching Play in Arrangement view
Too bad.
I've found a alternative.
1) I add 4 bars at the beginning with empty tracks
2) I add a locator on the 5th bar (the beginning of the song)
3) I add midi mapping on the locator
4) I activate Loop on the first 4 bars
5) I set the parameter of the quantification menu on None
I can launch the scene with during the loop with the first midi button.
I can trigger the beggining of my song with the other midi button

try "stop all clips" to override everything in the arranger
