Man! What an amazing show!

Ok, they're a far cry from techno music, but what an incredible live band! Wow. Any other fans out there?

Jeff Mangum from Neutral Milk Hotel came out and sang one song with them. It was a really emotional moment for the crowd + him. That guy has been unheard from since he released In The Aeroplane Over The Sea in 1997.

OTC was so great. Have any of you Europeans ever heard of OTC? IT's sort of like pysch-era Beatles with WAAAAAY more pyche. I strongly recommend checking this band out, especially if they are touring through your city. They haven't played live in 6 years and it's a real treat to see them live. Anyone would get a kick out it. I would even bring my mom to a show and I think she would enjoy it. :D

I got a sampler CD about 6 or 7 year ago that had a Olivia Tremmor Control track on called 'motor cycle rider', it also had 'oh comely' by neutral milk hotel, I've loved both bands since then... it's good good music people, and good good music is what we live for...

Yeah kick_kick_!

6 or 7 years ago sounds about right. Glad you dig them too.

It was so cool to see them. There were a number of Elephant 6ers on stage. Julian from Neutral Milk played the whole night, jumping from electric banjo to accordian to all sorts of noise makers. There were about 12 musicians on stage and probably 75-100 instruments that they would pick up and play for a minute and move on. Tuba. Xylophone. A kid's robot voice toy. They had a reel to reel in the back whipping through soundscapes. It sounded amazing. They played with so energy and a pure joy of being alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inspiring show for sure.

They did two nights at Bowery Ballroom in NYC. My friend told me on the first night when Jeff Mangnum came out to sing his song the crowd just went wild cheering him on... and he started to cry.

I dunno. That's the shit. Fuck noodle-brain internet trolls. We are here for music. It's gotta have a soul. Ableton has soul. Never lose sight. Keep on.
