I am very new to ableton, did make the switch coming straight from logic pro, which i used for 10 years. So i was wondering:
Is there any way to change the standard ableton shortcuts to my own liking (and have them switch for different context menus as well)?
I already rely on 3rd Party Softwares like BetterTouchTool and Keyboard Maestro a lot (also back in my Logic days), but the problem is, they dont recognize different editors/parts of ableton and such. So if i change e.g. the "New Midi Track" Key Command to the Letter "A" on my keyboard, i would not be able to use this Key for e.g. the Musical Typing Keyboard, as KM or BTT cant monitor these different contexts.
Is there a way (including 3rd Party software or not) to accomplish things like this?
Would very appreciate any advice!
Thanks!
Change existing shortcuts?
Re: Change existing shortcuts?
Nope, there’s no way to change them I’m afraid.

Re: Change existing shortcuts?
StreamDeck could be your solution, it integrates well with KM.
