Track Delay

Post by evon » Wed Sep 27, 2023 5:02 pm

Hi all, was just pondering, what do you do when a plugin is causing a track delay?
I mean, how is it resolved?
I am aware that track delay can be used creatively to get groove, but should this be rectified first?

in most cases plugin delay resolved automatically (assuming you haven't disabled delay compensation)...

Thanks, I am aware of delay compensation. Not certain if the delay shown by the plugin is before or after compensation.

the displayed delay amount for each plugin is how much compensation that individual plugin will need. in most Live sets the most important thing is the track with the highest total delay amount, since that will determine the minimum amount of compensation that is required to keep all the tracks in sync...
