Hey theres,
Just was stumbling upon the block of how i probably wont be able to afford a live 11 upgrade anytime soon, and I have been using the live 11 trial for a while, now. I own live 7. And was looking for advice about how I can save the most from my projects from live 11> back to down to 7..I do like live 11 much better actually. Improved cpu performance, sound quality, all that. I like it, nice work, ableton. Anyway, I would assume i can save some midi at least. I haven't tried moving anything back over to live 7 yet, and I am quite experienced with live 7,FYI. Also just tucking in there if there is anyway to "earn" an upgrade somehow, I do happen to be a special type producer, and i know all kinds of special and fancy invented techniques, that i could possibly share. Or something of some type helping sorts? Hey No worries,though, and take your time responding, is not urgent, I have like 44 days left on my trial. Thank you!

You can export midi but that's basically "just" the notes (not the instruments and FX).
Except from this, you'll have to print everything to audio, just like if you were transferring this to another DAW.

The only way to really get a discount on Live is if you’re a student, they have discounted educational licenses.
