About VST2 and VST3

Hello, I bought Addictive Drums 2 (AD2 for short) a few days ago
There are VST2 folder and VST3 folder in Plug-ins menu in Preference dialog
I don't remember whether I correctly register this AD2 to VST2 or not
Anyway, I found AD2 now is registered in VST3, but AD2 is originally recommended in VST2
So I reinstalled Ableton Live 11 again, however, AD2 is still under VST3
though I re-registered the AD2 in VST2 in that menu
Even there is no VST2 appearing in the left side of Live 11, only VST3 is showing
Hence may I ask
How can I make AD2 appear in VST2, not in VST3 ?
Should I reinstall the Windows 11 itself?
Or does this matter whether AD2 is under VST2 or under VST3 ?

In the XLN Online Installer you can set the path for the VST2 version. Make sure this is the same as the path set in Live's preferences.
The VST3 is installed in the correct dedicated filder. That's why Live automatically sees that one.
