Ableton not allowing me to drag and drop wav samples

Hi everyone
Opened Ableton today the latest version,so some odd reason I cannot drag and drop my wav sample onto a audio clip,in session view
I was about to make a track using my sample packs they contain aiff and wav samples
I have installed a fresh copy,same thing.Any ideas?

Are they copy protected samples? Or 32bit files?

Are you running Live as an Administrator? If so, start Live without special rights and try again.
Are you dragging the files from a cloud drive? If so, try dragging from a local drive.
Did you try some other samples?

Hi everyone
Thanks for the reply
These are paid for sample packs containing wav and aiff files. From Ghosthack,de and Zero G companies
And were playing fine a few months ago
There not 32 bit either
I will keep investigating,maybe I need to uninstall Ableton Live and try another install
When I drag a wav sample over and onto a clip I get a circle with a diagonal slash through it.The sample packs are greyed out too

Hi everyone
Ok I am so embarrased
And a idiot
A few weeks ago I had bought another SSD drive and moved my sample packs to that .And forgot to point Ableton to the new location
Just done that and the sample packs are now behaving as before. the files in the browser are not greyed out now
