Hey People!
Please I have one problem I need to solve.
Why there is latency when I route return track to audio track?
My mixing workflow is that I have all tracks routed to tracks that i using as buses. For example i set output on my kick drum to lets say Track 40, Track In and, and on Track 40 i set "IN" on monitoring. This became my Drum Bus. Everything works fine. But when I create return track to use some parallel compresion and then I try to route this to my drum bus there came latency and I dont know why. So when I route audio track output to other audio track, it works perfectly. But when I route return track output to other audio track there is latency.
Can I do something about this?
Return Track to Bus/Audio Track?
Re: Return Track to Bus/Audio Track?
on the audio (bus) track you are routing to, right click the sends and select "disable send" on all the sends on that bus track.
the reason is - if that send (on the bus) is activated its possible to make a feedback path, and those cant be automatically latency compensated.
if the bus sends are deactivated then it becomes possible for live to sync that track again using automatic delay compensation
