P3S: is it possible to trigger clip on one channel, but stay on current channel

So what I'd like to do is, lets say, have drum rack on channel 1, a bass on channel 2, hold the session button, on channel 2 tap a different cell then the current cell playing but not have ableton switch the arm'd channel to 2, I want it to stay on channel 1.
Is this possible?

Currently there’s no way to disable select on launch in standalone mode sadly.

Yeah, this needs to be added to Standalone. Really annoying dealing with this during a live performance.....

Agreed. I was working on setting up a new live performance using Push 3S and this issue caused me to scrap the idea for now. It's a dealbreaker for me during a live performance, so hopefully we see a change soon!

Agreed, the option to disable 'select on launch' seems pretty critical for live performance to me, it's definitely restricting how I think about my sets.
I guess the good news is that, with the feature already existing in control mode, hopefully it's not a big deal to add it to standalone, and it'll be an option fairly soon.
