Will the new updated browser allow searching for NKS instrument patches? Can we make our own sound previews easily without a 1 second sample and mouse click? Or are the Browser features primarily for Ableton instruments? Thanks.

The updated Browser doesn't offer anything new wrt NKS.

Nothing new in this area.
(My workaround is to save my instruments presets as clips rather than proper presets)

Nope. Similarity Searches/Swap works with user content (samples up to 60 seconds). Anything in the Browser can be tagged. You can create custom tags and tag groups.

Why is this 60 sec limit ?
I have a lot of field recordings and self played synth jams and these are mostly longer....
