I just started a collaboration with a songwriter that wants to work with me on some tracks.
The idea is to share livesets via dropbox and work on them remotely. He has a live lite license, I do own suite.

Is there a simple and convenient way for me to save livesets so they get usable in live lite?

Or can I open a version of live that is stripped down to "live lite" so I also work within the limitations?

No, you just need to make sure you’re not using any instruments or effects that aren’t in the Lite version. Or render everything to audio files, remembering to not use more than 8 tracks.
